Kim Sokola is a creative through and through. For over 15 years he has been working in the Creative industries, he is a trained Graphic Designer and studied in Hamburg and Amsterdam at the Miami Ad School Art Direction and Copywriting. As an Art Director and concept developer he worked for customer as the Eichhof brewery, Unilever, Bank Sarasin, Siemens, Emmi, Migros, Ochsner Sport, Jobwinner, Clariant or Kuoni. To tell a story visually was always fascinating and a challenge for him. Because of this passion and the way to tell a story visually he switched the agency chair with the photocamera.

In 2011 I found with my buddy and swiss photographer Simon Bolzern, the photography and postproduction studio, simon+kim werbefotografie.ch, based in the beautiful city Lucerne, Switzerland. simon+kim is specialized in conceptual, advertising, people, food, Landscape and postproduction work.

However, producing constantly images for the ad and creative industryies he take the time to travel and take photographs for his own work. This website shows his very personal work about land- and cityscape, places, people, fine art and stories captured visually around the world.

Knowledge also means responsibility, so he gives his expertise further and teaches as a guest lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts the "Certificates of Advanced Studies" in the field of art direction. Besides photography, Kim is a passionate cook.
